We will notify you of any such material changes by posting a notice on the Site. Certain services available through our Site may have their own terms and conditions that apply to your use of those services.

Simor is an Intellectual Network that gives an educational identity to its Users. Simor provides its Users with a platform to interact with like-minded individuals worldwide over a variety of academic subjects. Within Simor, there are many “Rooms,” each with a specific academic focus. Rooms are a place to post questions, responses, and ideas.
If you use your Facebook, Twitter, or other social networking site ("SNS") account information to sign in to Simor, we will collect and store your SNS user ID. If you connect your Simor account with your SNS account, we ask for your permission to collect certain information from your SNS account (such as information from your SNS profile).
You also provide us information in the content you post to the Service. Your questions, responses, ideas, and other contributions on the Service, and corresponding metadata (such as when you posted them), are publicly viewable on the Service by any User (e.g. by both Registered Users and Visitors), along with your name (unless a particular Service permits you to post anonymously). This information may be accessed through search engines and be republished elsewhere on the web.
Any college-level student can access Simor by creating an account and registering with a “.edu” email address, or third party service like Facebook or Linkedin (an “Account”). If you use a third party service to access Simor, you authorize Simor to access and collect information contained in your profile on such third party services, including without limitation your name, school, major, and/or people in your network. If we need additional information from you that is not available on the third party service, we may request additional information from you required to complete the set up of your Account. All Registered Users are required to fill out true, accurate, current, and complete data about yourself through basic questions (i.e. name and educational institution) to construct a profile, and to protect their accounts with a password that meets Simor’s criteria for passwords, as set forth from time to time (a “Password”). This facilitates connections and establishes user accountability.
Using a third party service to access the Simor Networks typically requires you to login to your account on the third-party service and you do so at your own risk. Simor does not control any of these third-party web services or any of their content. You expressly acknowledge and agree that Simor is in no way responsible or liable for any such third-party services or features. YOUR CORRESPONDENCE AND BUSINESS DEALINGS WITH THIRD PARTIES FOUND THROUGH THE SERVICE ARE SOLELY BETWEEN YOU AND THE THIRD PARTY. You may choose, at your sole and absolute discretion and risk, to use applications that connect the Service or your profile on the Service with a third-party service (each, an "Application") and such Applications may interact with, connect to or gather and/or pull information from and to your Service profile. By using such Applications, you acknowledge and agree to the following: (i) if you use an Application to share information, you are consenting to information about your profile on the Service being shared; (ii) your use of an Application may cause personally identifying information to be publicly disclosed and/or associated with you, even if Simor has not itself provided such information; and (iii) your use of an Application is at your own discretion and risk, and you will hold the Simor harmless for activity related to the Application.
You may not transfer or share your Password or Account (collectively, the “Account Information”) with anyone. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account Information and for all activities that occur under your Password or Account, including use by others to whom you have given your Account Information. You agree to immediately notify us upon becoming aware of any unauthorized use of your Account Information or any other breach of security. You are responsible for any and all use of your Account. Without limiting any rights which Simor may otherwise have, Simor reserves the right to take any and all action, as it deems necessary or reasonable, regarding the security of the Site and your Account, including without limitation terminating your Account, changing your Password, or requesting additional information to authorize transactions on your Account. Notwithstanding the above, Simor may rely on the authority of anyone accessing your Account or using your Password and in no event and under no circumstances shall Simor be held liable to you for any liabilities or damages resulting from or arising out of your use of the Site, your use of the Account Information or your release of the Account Information to a third party. You may not use anyone else's Account at any time.
SIMOR DOES NOT: (I) GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR USEFULNESS OF ANY USER INFORMATION ON THE SERVICE; OR (II) ADOPT, ENDORSE OR ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY OPINION, ADVICE OR STATEMENT MADE BY A USER. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SIMOR BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON INFORMATION OR OTHER CONTENT POSTED ON THE SERVICES OR TRANSMITTED TO OR BY ANY USER.

Registered Users of Simor are identified their name, educational institution, and other basic information required when registering. Additional information you provide is done so voluntarily subject to the content policy above. The information you provide may be distributed to servers inside the United States as well as in countries worldwide. User information and data enhances Simor by creating an atmosphere of accountability and providing more search filters to facilitate connections between its members.
Much of the information that Simor requires can be found in typical university directories. While Simor encourages Registered Users to provide additional information about themselves to construct a richer identity, it respects those who submit only the required information. Simor was designed as an inclusive, academic environment. As such, Registered Users should be aware that their profile can be viewed by all others Users.
Simor requires that all information concerning the identities of its members be truthful. While photographic portraits are not required for membership, Simor strongly encourages its members to upload a profile picture to contribute to their academic identity. Dishonesty or misrepresentations from Members regarding their information and pictures may result in their permanent dismissal from Simor. As aforementioned, Simor wants to maintain an atmosphere of accountability.
